Emma M. Garcia

Emma M. Garcia, 88, passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas on April 10, 2021. She was born on June 30, 1932, in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents, Angel and Maria Mendoza. She was preceded in death by both parents; loving husband of 42 years, Anastacio Garcia; six siblings; daughter, Sylvia Pantoja; two granddaughters, Lisa Garcia and Stefanie Pantoja. Emma was a loving and caring person that will be missed by everyone that knew her. She loved to dance and enjoyed music, gardening, family gatherings and gambling. She is survived by her children, Anastacio Garcia, Jr. (Emilia), Richard Garcia (Mary Alice), Irma Guerrero (Reynaldo), Daniel Garcia (Esmerelda) and Diana Garcia (Boots); 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington, Corpus Christi, Texas 78416 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
