She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 37 years Arturo B. Garcia; her children, Arturo A. (Julie) Garcia and Melinda (Steven) Olinick; grandchildren, Steven M. Olinick, Olivia A. Garcia, Samantha J. Olinick; siblings, Pepe (Juanita) Alanis, Laura Pineda, Yolanda Chalmers, Gilberto (Yolanda) Alanis, Dora Alanis, Sonja Alanis, Temo (Blanca) Alanis and Sandra (Jose) Guevara; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Emma enjoyed family gatherings, traveling and especially being around her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

Her family will be receiving family and friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Funeral services will at 9:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
