Emma G Morales

Emma was born on November 14, 1946, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Juan Gonzalez and Consuelo Gonzalez. She graduated from West Oso High School in 1964 and later married the love of her life, Elias L. Morales, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Emma dedicated more than 30 years of service to Gulf Coast Federal Credit Union before retiring in 2020. She truly loved her career and cherished the many friendships she made throughout the years. Her strong work ethic, warm smile, and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Above all else, Emma's greatest joy was her family. She loved working in her yard, tending to her garden, taking long walks, and gathering with loved ones. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of her family's most treasured memories include vacations, backyard barbecues, family trips, countless inside jokes, and the laughter they all shared together.

Emma will always be remembered as a devoted wife, an exceptional mother, and the best grandmother anyone could ask for. She rarely missed her children's or grandchildren's school events and was always there to encourage, support, and celebrate every milestone. Her kindness, generosity, unwavering love, and selfless heart created a legacy that will live on through her family for generations.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Consuelo Gonzalez; her beloved husband, Elias L. Morales; and her cherished grandson, Anthony E. Jaimes.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Erica M. Morales and Eileen M. Morales; her grandchildren, Elijah B. Lugo, Sunshyne Lugo, Abrielle A. DeLeon, Alexa M. Jaimes, and Jezabele R. Jaimes; her great-grandchildren, Anyiah R. Maldonado, Luna Rodriguez, Damian Benavidez, Cam-ron Jaimes, and Penelope Hinojosa; and her siblings, Alicia M. Farmer, Eloy Gonzalez, and Juan "Johnny" Gonzalez Jr., along with many extended family members, dear friends, and all whose lives she touched.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice nurses whose compassionate care, constant support, and kindness brought comfort to Emma and her loved ones during her final days. We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to the staff at The Premiere of Alice for the care, compassion, and respect they showed throughout her time there.

Emma's love, strength, laughter, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of everyone blessed to know and love her.

Viewing and Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, on August 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Continued Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, on August 5, 2026, at 9:00 am.  

The Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, on August 5, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by Committal and Interment at 11:00 am. Emma’s final resting place is Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi.
