Enedina R. Martinez, age 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Enedina was born September 21, 1938 in Corpus Christi, TX to Francisco and Elvira Ramos. She was raised in Realitos, TX in Duval County.
Enedina was married to her husband, Enrique Martinez for over 42 years until his death in 2012. She had a passion for soap opera shows, gardening, and cooking. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, and her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her tremendous pride in her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Enedina was a long-time member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Enedina was kind, thoughtful, a very sweet lady and will be remembered for her great smile. Enedina had a beautiful soul, and she will be greatly missed by all.
Enedina is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Martinez, Sr.; her parents, Francisco and Elvira Ramos; Siblings: Elida Hinojosa, Maria Ella Ramos, Esequiel Ramos, and Ramon Ramos.
She is survived by her children: Enrique Martinez, Jr. (Yolanda) and Elvira Martinez; grandchildren: Trey martinez, Valarie M. Velasquez (Brian), Bianca Martinez, Alejandro Martinez, Ryan J. Martinez, Matthew J. Martinez, and sister; Imelda Ortiz.
A visitation for Enedina will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A Holy Rosary will occur Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church, 3350 S Alameda St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. An interment will occur Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
