Enrique L. Urtado Jr.

Enrique L. (Henry) Urtado, Jr., age 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Henry fought the good fight of faith and never lost his beautiful smile. He was born on December 24, 1948 to Enrique and Eva Luna Urtado.

Henry served in the United State Marine Corp during the Vietnam conflict, where he received his Purple Heart. He retired as a pipeline inspector.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernesto Urtado.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories, his loving and beautiful wife, Belinda; his son James (Trey) Harrod; and his daughters, Patricia A. (Manuel) Patino, Lora A. (Encarnacion) Urtado, Brenda Urtado, Linda A. (Thomas Martinez) Urtado; brothers, Luis (Lupita) Urtado, Adan Urtado, Danny (Mary Helen) Urtado, Andrew (Lisa) Urtado; sisters, Rosa (Santos) Arrellano, Mary Lou (Sam) Viera, Nora Ramirez; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Solid Rock Church, 3035 Ayers St., Corpus Christi, TX, with a Prayer Service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Church. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.

The United States Marine Corps motto, Semper Fi (always faithful), was the standard by which Henry lived his life as both a Marine and a Christian.
