Esperanza Luna Gonzalez

She was born in San Diego, Texas on October 7, 1925.

Esperanza is preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Adela Vera Luna; husband, Pedro Gonzalez; son, Hector Gonzalez; sister, Rebecca L. Amaya and brother, Pedro Luna.

She is survived by her brother, Torquato (Connie) Luna; niece who was more like a daughter to her, Rebecca (David) Oliveira; grandchildren, Matthew (Samantha) Gonzalez, Clarissa Gonzalez; very special nephews, Daniel, Alex and Matthew Oliveira; 1 great grandson, Cohen Gonzalez; daughter in law, Veronica Gonzalez and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to a close friend and provider, Martita Delgado.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Christi the King Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers are Rene L. Amaya, Arnold Luna, Matthew Gonzalez, Matthew Oliveira, Alex Oliveira and Herby Garza.
