Born on August 22, 1936, to the late Henry Lozano and Cleofas Lozano, Esteban lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a love for the outdoors. Throughout his long career in the construction industry, he worked for Counts Concrete during the 1960s, Brown & Root in the 1970s, Heldenfels Construction in the 1980s, and Quality Concrete beginning in the 1990s until his retirement. His strong work ethic and commitment to his craft earned him the respect of coworkers and friends alike.
Known affectionately as "Uncle Steve" by family and friends, Esteban found joy in simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors, tending to his yard, and burning brush. Whether working outside or spending time with loved ones, he appreciated the value of a day's work and the satisfaction of caring for his home.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Wooldridge Nursing Home, the second-floor nurses and staff at The Palms Nursing Home, and Dr. John R. Cone for the many years of excellent medical care, compassion, and support they provided to Esteban.
Esteban will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of the outdoors, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lozano and Cleofas Lozano.
May he rest in peace.
