Ester M. Quintero, age 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away July 24, 2021. She was born in Corpus Christi on December 5, 1958. She attended West Oso High School and later went on to marry Valentin Quintero Sr. in 1974.
Ester was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. She had a passion for her family and always had her door open for anyone who needed help.
Ester is preceded in passing by her parents, Secundino Martinez and Clara P. Martinez; her husband, Valentin Quintero Sr.; her grandson, Justin Quintero; her siblings, Christobal Martinez, Frances Polido Ortega, and Gracie Garza; and her nephew, Matthew M. Saldana; and her niece, Melissa Martinez Platz.
Ester leaves her loving memories to her children, Valentin Quintero Jr., Steve (Maria) Quintero, Christopher Quintero, Crystal (Johnathon) Quintero, Mark (Samantha) Quintero, Ruby (Michael) Quintero, and Joshua (Jayda) Quintero; her grandchildren, Valentin Quintero III, Kaylob Quintero, Tyler Quintero, Samantha Quintero, Gavin Juarez, Maddix Juarez, Iris Juarez, Michael Juarez, Johnathon Perez Jr., Mark Quintero Jr., Jasmine Quintero, Daisy Quintero, Michael Villa Jr., Malachi Villa, Jayden Quintero, Josiah Quintero, Jiovanni Quintero, and Jaxson Quintero; her great-grandchild, Jeremiah Angel Juarez; her siblings, Carlos (Guadalupe M.) Martinez, Alicia Benavides, Leticia (Oscar) Moreno, Cristina Saldana, Arturo Rodriguez, San Juana Rodriguez, and Yolanda Rodriguez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 6:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will be recited that same night at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church at 10:00 am with Interment to immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
