Eva E. Callejo

Eva Escamilla Callejo, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on August 11, 2016 at the age of 94. She was born August 21, 1921 in Driscoll, Tx to the late Concepcion & Maria Escamilla.

Eva will be remembered for the love and devotion for her family and for the many hearts she touched.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo Callejo, Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, eight children, Alfredo Jr., Roberto, JC (Larea), Rey (Edna) Callejo, Sylvia (Alfred) Elizondo, Linda Callejo, Mary (Billy) Guerra and JoAnn (Tony) Lopez; her precious 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren; one sister and two brothers.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, TX on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Javier Olalde, Steven Guerra, Erik Martinez, Mark Callejo, Joe Callejo and Luis Callejo.
