

Evangelina De Los Santos Garcia was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on December 29, 1958. She attended Miller High School and made her home in Corpus Christi, where she built a beautiful life surrounded by family.
In 1996, Evangelina married George Hernandez in Corpus Christi. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she took great pride in the love and memories they shared together.
Evangelina was known for her caring nature, her sense of humor, and the joy she brought to those around her. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed playing the lottery with her family. She especially enjoyed taking her loved ones to bingo and spending time together.
Among her family's favorite memories were trips to Vegas, where she would tell stories about things that had happened. Her funny faces and playful personality could make everyone laugh. She loved having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren visit and cherished every moment with them. She also loved decorating her Christmas tree early and taking trips to San Juan with her children.
Evangelina leaves behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her family will forever remember her warmth, her humor, and the special way she brought people together.
Left to cherish her memories is her three children, Amelie Mendez, Richard Garcia, and Corina Garcia.
She joins her parents, Francisco and Delia De Los Santos in heaven.
Her favorite saying was: “Kitty, kitty, meow, meow.”
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
