Evangelina Sequeira

EVANGELINA SEQUEIRA, age 98, of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on December 10, 2021. She was born in Mexico City on June 7, 1923. She was married to Benjamin H. Sequeira on January 29, 1950.

Our angelic mom and wife was a devout christian. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and had an immense compassionate heart for humanity. Giving to people was her motto. Shopping was one of her passions, knowing all the gifts she bought were for her family and friends. She devoted her life around her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She met the love of her life at the conservatory of music in Mexico City. There,classical music became her passion. She had a gift for playing classical guitar music. The music of her classical guitar, piano, and romantic spanish music was her love.

Evangelina is preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Maria Ramirez; siblings; Maria Luisa Arias, Ignacio Ramirez, and Josefina Ramirez

Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Benjamin H. Sequeira; children; Benjamin Sequeira Jr., Alfred Sequeira, Arthur Sequeira, Pearl Sequeira Andrade, and George Sequeira; grandchildren; Micelle Fountain, Benjamin Sequeira III, Elaine Pedraza, Alfred Sequeira Jr., Laura Trainer, Jennifer Mireles, Arthur Sequeira Jr., Eddie Sequeira, Eli Andrade, Evita Lopez, Nicholas Lee, and Amanda Lee; along with twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Her love of life, strong family values, and an amazing sense of humor, contributed to a strong foundation that always kept the family together. She was one of the strongest individuals ever. She never complained a single day of her life, always kept a smile on her face, love in her heart, and even during her suffering; she managed to keep an amazing sense of humor. She was completely selfless and always gave all of herself to her family. She will always be remembered and loved by her family and everyone that knew her.

A public visitation for EVANGELINA will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 1:30 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A chapel service will occur Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A committal service will occur Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
