Ezequiel H. Garza

Ezequiel was a dedicated and wonderful husband of 60 years, a caring father of two and grandfather to one amazing kid. He is survived by his beautiful wife, children, son-in-law, grandchild, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ezequiel was creative, loved music and life. He had many hobbies including being outdoors swinging away while enjoying the fruits of his labor in his yard and garden, watching and listening to birds, collecting rare coins and license plates from all the states he traveled to. He was proud to say he had collected them all.

He helped build many structures throughout the country as a welder and pipefitter. He was a hard worker and a fantastic friend to many. Ezequiel was also a talented photographer and photographed everything and everyone around him. Those photographs will help keep his memory alive and he will never be forgotten.

Please join us in celebrating Ezequiel’s life on Friday, February 12, 2021. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm and a service will be held at 1:30 pm at Funeraria del Angel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415.

Ezequiel H. Garza nació el 28 de diciembre de 1935 y falleció tranquilamente el 29 de enero de 2021. El estuvo rodeado por su amorosa y cuidadosa familia.

Ezequiel era un esposo dedicado y maravilloso por 60 años, un padre cariñoso de dos y abuelo de un nieto increíble. Tiene mucha familia que lo sobrevive incluyendo su hermosa esposa, hijos, yerno, nieto, hermanos, primos hermanos, sobrinas y sobrinos.

Ezequiel era muy creativo, amaba la música y la vida. El tenia muchas aficiones incluyendo estar afuera columpiándose mientras miraba los pajaritos y escuchaba que cantaban, también disfrutaba las frutas de su labor en su yarda y jardín, colectaba monedas raras y placas de licencia de todos los estados donde había viajado. Con mucho orgullo decía que las había colectado todas.

El ayudo a construir muchas estructuras por todo el país como soldador y pipefitter. Siempre trabajo duro y era un gran amigo. Ezequiel también era un fotógrafo y le tomaba fotografías a todo y a todos que lo rodeaban. Esas fotos nos ayudarán a tenerlo siempre en nuestros recuerdos y nunca lo olvidaremos.

La visitación empezará a las 12:30 pm y el servicio será a la 1:30 pm en Funeraria del Ángel - Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415. El sepelio será inmediatamente después en Memory Gardens Funeral Home y Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
