Ezequiel Quinones

Ezequiel Quinones, 89, born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX died in Sturgis, South Dakota on December 22, 2016. Ezequiel’s parents were Alejandro Quinones and Isabel Quimbar and was one of fourteen siblings. Ezequiel wed Maria Thelma Saenz in May 1949. His beloved wife predeceased him in March of 2006. They had three children, Linda T. McGee married to Garry L. McGee of Rapid City, South Dakota, Julian Quinones of Eagle, Colorado and Daniel Quinones of Kalispell, Montana (deceased). Ezequiel had two grandchildren, Kevin McGee and Karen Bauer. He had three great-grandchildren, Derek Bauer, Brianna Bauer and Cassy McGee all from Rapid City, South Dakota. Ezequiel served in the Army Air Corp during the Occupation of Japan where he earned the rank of Sargent. He retired from a long career as a Civil Servant working for the Department of the Navy at NAS Corpus Christi, TX and then retired from NAS North Island, San Diego California. Ezequiel learned to golf while in the Army Air Corp and remained an avid golfer throughout his lifetime. Ezequiel will be interred at Memory Gardens in Corpus Christi, TX.
