Felicita A. Torres

She loved spending her time tending to her garden and watching seeds sprout into life and took great pleasure in nurturing growing things. She also enjoyed the thrill of fishing and feeling the tug on the line and the serenity of being outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Esequiel C Torres, her parents, Pedro Aguilar, Sr. and Leonor Aguilar. Brothers, Manuel Aguilar, Baltazar Aguilar, Jose Aguilar. Sisters Emma Reyes, Bea Tamez, Petra Tamez, Tina Rodriguez.

She is survived by her daughter, Zulema Samaniego (John), Granddaughter, Gabriella Samaniego (Daniel Hamilton), Granddaughter, Angelica Samaniego and Great Granddaughter, Clarisse Sandoval. She is survived by her brothers, Pedro Aguilar, Jr., Juan Aguilar and Gasper Aguilar, Sr., Numerous nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Del Cielo Home Health for the care and compassion they showed to my mother.

A visitation for Felicita will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A holy rosary will occur Friday, July 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A mass of christian burial will occur Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles, 3901 Violet Rd,, Corpus Christi, TX. A graveside service will occur Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers are James Gonzalez, Jacob Samaniego, Andres Aguilar, Luis Aguilar, Henry Aguilar and Juan Manuel Aguilar.
