Felicitas “Happy” L. Salazar, 64 went to be with Our Heavenly Father on January 9, 2014. She was born December 29, 1949 to the late Domingo and Consuelo Lopez. Felicitas was a graduate of Foy H. Moody High class of 1969. Felicitas owned a Bar for 20 years, Las Dos Comadres. She loved to play poker, play the slot machines and enjoyed joking around with family and friends always.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of 41 years Jose M. Salazar, daughter; Marina Salazar, son; Jose (Herminia ) Salazar, all of Corpus Christi, Texas, eight grandchildren; Alexandra, Ariel, Serena, Eleanora, Alyssa, Joe, Jose, Emery, one sister; Irma De Leon and two brothers; Ramiro and Sam Lopez, numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel-Cheyenne, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
