Felipa C. Benavides

Felipa spent most of her life working on farms, developed a strong working drive and encouraged her to become a business woman in retail sales at the Flea Markets. Her devotion to her husband for over 60 years and the love for her family was her drive to enjoy Life. Felipa loved animals especially livestock, holidays and family.

She was devoted to her family, church, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pablo.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Jazmin) Benavidez and her daughter, Olga (Fermin) Medina. She is also survived by loving grandchildren; Joyce (Peter) Halwig, Mark (Lydia) Benavidez, Justin Benavidez, Roland Medina, Annette Fuchs and Rene (Jacquelyn) Medina.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church with a burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
