Felipe Rodriguez

to be with the Lord on January 3, 2014.

He was born to Carolina and Felipe Rodriguez

on December 18, 1940.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years,

Margie, his son Roland (Linda) and his

grandchildren Ryan and Emma. He is also

survived by his sisters Susie, Eva, Maria Elena

and Lucinda and brother Domingo, all of Corpus

Christi, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was also blessed with being a father figure

to Jesse, Bede, Laly, Norma and Ray Garcia.

Felipe retired from the City of Corpus Christi after

32 years of service. His passions included working

with plants and watching sports. He most enjoyed

traveling to see his grandson play baseball and

watching his granddaughter ride horses. Felipe was

always "ready to go" and ready to "talk sports" with

anyone. His priority was his family, and he was a

devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He

will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

The family will be receiving friends on January 8, 2014

at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Funeral Home

from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00

p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be on

Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del

Angel- Memorial Holly Funeral Home Chapel with

interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name

to the National Kidney Foundation. The family would like

to express their appreciation to the staff at Fresenius
