Felix Vargas, 75, passed away on February 15, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on February 21, 1939 in Asherton, Texas to the late Antonio Vargas and Manuela Moreno. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corp. Felix was preceded in death by his parents, great grandchild and his sister, Conception Martinez. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife, Maria Elvia Casas Vargas; his six children, Reynaldo Vargas, Rosalia Lopez ( Late Daniel), Rene Vargas, Richard Vargas, Roxanne Vargas, Rachel Vargas, Steven Lopez; his sister, Nicole (Pete) Segovia, Janie (Henry) Hernandez; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Services to conclude at the church.
