Frances Irene Lampton Brown was born on February 23, 1934, in Oklahoma City, the youngest of eleven children. She was married for 54 years to Richard Leslie Lampton Sr., who served in the U.S. Air Force. Frances embraced military life, making friends and experiencing cultures around the world, forming many lifelong friendships along the way.
Her two sons, Richard Jr. and Lewis ZG. Lampton, kept her busy and meant the world to her. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing tennis, cooking, gardening, and traveling to visit friends. Frances was active in her church, Kings Crossing Church of Christ, where she participated in Bible study and volunteered whenever needed. She is survived by her sons, Richard Lampton Jr., of Bandera, Texas and Lewis Guy Lampton of Phoenix, Arizona. She was also a proud grandmother and great grandmother.
