Francisca Sanchez Moreno

Francisca Sanchez Moreno, more notably known as Frances S. Moreno, who peacefully

departed this life on April 26, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by her cherished family in

the comfort of her home.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, on November 7, 1927 Frances was a proud

lifelong resident who embodied the warmth and spirit of her hometown. She shared a

beautiful life with her beloved husband, Baldemar, until his passing in 1995. Their love was

a testament to enduring commitment and joy.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Frances was full of life, always smiling, laughing, and uplifting

those around her. Her generous heart, deep faith, and boundless positivity left a lasting

impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She had a true love for music, dancing, BINGO and good food - joys she never hesitated to share.

But nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her family, the center of her world. Whether enjoying a scenic drive down Ocean Drive or picnicking at Cole Park Frances found beauty in the simple pleasures of life, especially when near the ocean she so dearly loved. Her legacy is one of joy, love, faith, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Baldemar Moreno; Parents, Jose Sanchez and Maria De La Luz Munoz Sanchez; Children, Juan Baldemar Moreno Jr., Joe Baldomero Moreno, Maria Nelda Moreno and Grandson; Victor Palacios.

Those left to cherish her memories are children, Humberto Jose Vasquez, Manuel Vasquez (Lydia), Rosalinda Vasquez Palacios, Juan Vasquez, Anna Cora Vasquez, Blanca Estella Moreno, Cynthia Moreno, Oscar A. Moreno, and Alicia Moreno. First born grandchildren, Lena Vasquez, Sammy Sain, Frances Prado, Joe B. Moreno, Armando Vasquez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Francisca will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A prayer service will occur Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 7:00 PM, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A continued visitation will occur Monday, May 19, 2025 at 9:00 AM, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A prayer service will occur Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A burial will occur Monday, May 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
