Francisca G. Ybarra

Francisca G. Ybarra, age 84, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was born in McAllen, Texas, on May 11, 1939 to Mariano Gonzales and Petra Hernandez. Francisca was married to her beloved husband, Crispin D. Ybarra. Together, they were blessed with three beautiful children and a lifetime filled with love.

Francisca is reunited with her husband, Crispin Ybarra; mother, Petra Hernandez; father, Mariano Gonzales; and siblings, Ramona Cavazos, Cresencia Cordova, and Juan Gonzales.

Francisca leaves her cherished legacy to her children, Crispin (Lisa) Ybarra III, Maria I. (Bobbie Jo) Garza, and Ismael (Lisa) Ybarra; grandchildren, Amanda Maria Garza, Bobbie Jo (Sarah) Garza Jr., Michael Jacob Garza, Illiana (JT) Vaughan, Angelina Ybarra, Augustine Ybarra, Raven Ybarra, Roman Ybarra, Richard Ybarra, and Ryan Ybarra; siblings, Guadalupe Benavides, Reynalda Garcia, Santos Mendoza, Julia Castenon, Julio Gonzales, and Mariano Gonzales; numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 9 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary to be recited that same night at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
