It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of my Dad, Frank C. Puente, at the age of 91. Frank was born on the 15th of August in San Antonio, TX. After moving to Corpus Christi, he graduated from W.B. Ray H.S. During the Korean Conflict, Frank served as a U.S. Army Radar Operator in South Korea after completing Basic Training at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX. Frank and his recently departed wife of 66 years, Feliz, were united in Holy Matrimony at Holy Family Catholic Church on October 26, 1958 where they were active parishioners and directors of one of the choirs for nearly 50 years. Now they are united in death in the loving arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Frank loved playing his guitar, working on electronics in the garage and working in the yard surrounded by his loved neighborhood dogs. Frank is survived by his son Victor (Lydia), three grandchildren (Lucas, Mark and Joseph), three sisters (Olga, Carmen and Linda), two brothers (Jesse and Eddie) and many friends and relatives.
Sincere gratitude to those who gave generously during this time of sorrow. Thanks to the staff at Brookdale Senior Living, Opus Hospice and Caraday of Corpus Christi for their compassionate care and concern during my Dad’s last days on Earth. The Angelic Choir has gained one more guitar player and two more voices.
A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart located at 4901 Everhart Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78411 starting at 9:00 AM with the Holy Rosary to be Recited at 10:00 AM. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at Franks' beloved Holy Family Catholic Church.
