Gabina G. Bazan

She was born August 15, 1941 to Policarpio and Rita C. Gonzalez in Corpus

Christi, Texas.She was involved in the community with Education is Our Freedom

Program including Greenwood Senior Center for the past 18 years and various other

organizations, and Board of Directors. She also gave her time to the less fortunate,

Box Fan Program, Senior AC program, and helped with Adopt-A-School and many other

organizations. She also worked for CCISD for over 27 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Felix Bazan Sr.; brothers,

Felix Gonzalez, Hipolito Gonzalez and Carlos Gonzalez. She leaves behind her

children, Joe Felix (Mary) Bazan Jr., Joe Anthony “Tony” Bazan(Ramon Lopez),

Julia Ann Randel (Douglas), Mary Lou Stout (Jim), Michael Bazan; grandchildren,

Xavier, Karissa, Audrey, Katelyn, Josh, Devin, Wade, Allison, Christopher, Dylan and

Lucy; siblings, Rodolfo Gonzalez, Julia Gonzalez, Bernarda Moreno, Rita Perez and many

great-grandchildren.

The family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel-Memorial Holly on Tuesday,

March 31, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same

evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 1,

2015 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
