

He attended Ray High School and Del Mar College. He married the love of his life of 17 years on August 15, 1998. He was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot. Gabriel enjoyed playing his bass, playing in the church band, riding his motorcycle, spending quality time with his wife, children and as well as other family and friends, barbecuing, cheering on his favorite NFL team the Dallas Cowboys, and more than anything else sharing Jesus with others. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed, he will always be remembered for his devotion to his church and family.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his infant son, Roman Gabriel Gill; his maternal grandparents, Anselmo (Jesusa) Acosta and his paternal grandparents Cipriano (Zapopan) Gill.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Nissa N. Gill; his children, Aliyah J. Gill, Andrew O. Gill, Arlie G. Gill; his parents, Co-pastor Eugene and Maria Gill; brothers, Michael (Elizabeth) Flores and Jesse (Ida) Flores; his honorary sister, Veronica (Roy) Aguirre; his in-laws, numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
On behalf of the Gill family we would like to extend a special thanks to Church Unlimited, to the staff at Doctor’s Regional Inpatient Physical and Occupational Rehab and to all of Gabriel’s colleagues at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
A gathering will be held at Church Unlimited on 3402 Rodd Field Rd. on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
Funeral Service will be held at Church Unlimited on 3402 Rodd Field Rd. at 10:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
