

Genaro “Jerry” Juarez passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the age of 58. He was a devoted husband, father, “Popo” and a gift to all who knew him. Jerry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 4 years. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life until an industrial accident prevented him from working.
He enjoyed traveling with his family, fishing trips, casinos with his family, and trips to New Mexico and spoiling his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Maximo and Severa Lucio, his mother-in-law, Olivia Flores, brother-in-law, Jorge Flores and step-father, Federico Castillo.
Jerry is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 31 years, Maggie Juarez, his son, Thomas (Michelle) Juarez, his daughters, Melissa Juarez and Veronica (Aaron) Manes. The love and joy of his life were his grandchildren, Kristopher, Elise, Ray, Kayla, Megan, Madison and Ava. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Basilio Flores; mother, Maria Castillo; brothers, Edward (Anna) Juarez and Johnny (Cindy) Villarreal; sisters, Josie Roque, Paula Herrera, Janie Castillo and Rosario (Juve) Garza.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
