

Geneva was born in Meyersville, Texas on September 24, 1931, to Edwin A. T. Bitterly and Clara A. Hans Bitterly. She passed away after a long illness, on January 15, 2014.
Geneva lived most of her life in Corpus Christi as a homemaker. She was a devoted and very involved parishioner of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church serving for the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, The Women’s Council, The R.C.I.A. and the St. Jude Gift Shop for many years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, who will be missed by all who knew her, especially her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, James H. Dreier; sister, Mary Merle Rangnow and brother, Lawrence E. Bitterly.
Geneva is survived by her sons, Anthony Dreier, Lawrence Dreier and Guy Dreier (Cindy); daughters, Anne Dreier, Yvonne Pyle (Steve) and Leah Flores (David); sister, Judy Heil (Leroy); grandchildren, Jacqueline and Ryan Dreier, Lauren Smith (Mike), Mindy Pyle, Christopher Blayne and Tristan Dreier, Daniel and Erin Dreier, Aaron, Brianna and Brooke Flores; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Dreier, Daniel Dreier, Aaron Flores, J.J. Perez and Michael Molohon.
Visitation will begin Monday, January 20, 2014, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga, on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a Mass be requested in her memory at the church of your choosing.
