She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Abelardo Gonzalez; son, Abel Gonzalez, Jr.; daughter, Aida Marie Vela-Garcia; and grandson, Roland Gonzalez, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Roland (Patty) Gonzalez; grandchildren: Lisa (Kenyatta) Evans, Albert (Sarah) Vela, Monica Garcia, Denise Gonzalez, Benjamin Gonzalez, Miranda Gonzalez and Aaron Gonzalez. She also had 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 South Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
