Georgia retired as Business Manager for the Caller-Times in 1990 after a long career to care for her mother. She will be remembered for her loving devotion to family and friends. She was the one to lift your spirits with her smile, comfort you with a warm heart and endless hugs, dance your shoes off and bring joy with her infectious laugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Alvin Hartley & Marie Ellen "Jackie" Hartley, daughter Terral Marie McQueen Lehman and grandson Bruce Bankston. She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 48 years, Weldon Terry McQueen; four children Scotty (Mary) Quick, Mark (Lisa) Quick, Julie (Darrel) Kemp and Deborah McQueen; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m., February 12, 2014 at Memory Gardens Chapel. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
