Gilberto Gonzalez Sr.

Gilberto served in the United States Army and retired from the Corpus Christi Army Depot after 26 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed watching boxing, football, baseball, and sports in general.

Gilberto is preceded in death by his wife, Eufemia Rosas Gonzalez; parents, A.C. and Concepcion Gonzalez.

Gilberto is survived by his children, Gilbert (Rosemary) Gonzalez Jr., Norma (Manuel) Tello, Christina (Jose) Gonzalez; sisters, Mary (Alex) Garza, Bertha (Albert) Pardo; brother, Daniel (Hermilia) Gonzales; grandchildren, Krystle Marie (Allen) Trevino, George Tello, Gilbert (Amanda) Gonzalez III, Andrew Carl Gonzalez, Samantha Gonzalez, Jose Gonzalez Jr., and Aaron Tello; great-grandchildren, A. J. Trevino, Ariella Gonzalez, and Jaxen Trevino.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
