Gloria Ortiz Garza

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria O. Garza, who tragically left us on March 9, 2025, at the age of 62. A longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Garza; her cherished daughters, Breanna Rivera (Justin) and Seleena Lira (Timothy); step-children, Charlie Garza, and Amanda Garza: and her adored grandchildren, Jazlynn (14), Charlee Beth (6), Luca (4), Miles (2), and Cain (9 months). She is also survived by her loving sisters, Nelda Davila, Diana Tello, and Melba Ortegon, with whom she shared a lifelong bond.

Gloria was preceded in death by her dear mother, Imelda Ortiz, and now rests peacefully by her side.

A gifted hairstylist for over 45 years, Gloria dedicated more than 35 years to her clients at Savath’s Premiere Salon, where her warmth and talent made a lasting impact. She will always be remembered for her selflessness, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on March 31, 2025, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. The public viewing will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at 3:00 PM.

Though Gloria was taken too soon, her love and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
