

She was battling Pancreatic Cancer. Her smile was like the sunshine and gleamed with love for all the babies that entered her life. Guadalulpe had a heart filled with kindness as big as Texas and an unending love for her family and friends. God took her to His mansion. What rejoicing there must be, when he took away her Cancer and God set her spirit Free. A husband (Jose E. Castellanos, Sr.) and a daughter (Mary Jane Castellanos) she will meet in heaven. She left behind all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Leaving behind to cherish her memory is Dominga and Thomas Kupsky of Orlando, Florida; Anita Pena of Corpus Christi, Texas; Guadalupe Schmidt of Sartell of Minnesota; Jose Enrique Castellanos Jr. of Orange Grove, Texas; Sylvia Castellanos of Orange Grove, Texas; Mary Jane Castellanos (Proceeded in Death), Juan Manuel and Julie Castellanos of Houston, Texas; Samuel Castellanos of Corpus Christi, Texas; Jose Martin Castellanos of Orange Grove, Texas; Maria Socorro Castellanos of Corpus Christi, Texas; 26 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, one sister Josie Moreno of Iowa, two brothers Victor Muniz, Pablo Muniz Jr. of Corpus Christi Texas and a host of family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne. Visitation will continue on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 540 Hiawatha, at 10:00 am. with interment to follow at Robstown Memorial Park.
