Guadalupe C Falcon was born in Harlingen, Texas to Candelario and Emilia Falcon on December 12, 1952. She joined with our Lord in Heaven at the age of 74 on July 12th, 2026. She graduated from Ray High School in Corpus Christi, TX and received a degree in Industrial Management from Del Mar College, also in Corpus Christi, where she lived. She retired from Del Mar College as a Custodial Supervisor after over 30 years and was extremely proud of her work and accomplishments at Del Mar College.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Candelario and Emilia Falcon, her brothers, Fidel C Falcon, Joe Rosales, Florencio Rosales, and her sister, Mary Hale, as well as her longtime partner, Roberta Sturm.
She is survived by her niece/daughter, Tiffany Starr Falcon, and nephew/son Fidel Antonio Falcon JR (Victoria), who she loved as her children, and in turn who they loved as a mother. Her brothers, Felix (Maria) and Able Rosales, her sisters Connie, Elva, Martina, and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great and great great nieces and nephews. And her partner Leigh Ann Ward. She also had many friends who stayed in her life for many decades.
Lupe was known for her compassion and willingness to help others. Her kindness was unmatched, and her love for her family knew no bounds. Tiffany and Fidel speak often of the fact that she never got angry with them, despite their unruly youth, and they will miss their conversations with her. She loved to look at the stars, science fiction movies, especially Star Wars, and collected many movies throughout her life.
She loved her little brother Fidel, will all her heart, and like many of us, she took care of him for most of his life.
Later in life, she found her lost siblings and extended her love to them as if she had never been separated from them. She was a lover of animals, having many dogs and cats over the years, Damien, Dexter, Lady, Samson, Duke, Garfield, Ricky, Abby, Milo, and she cared for them as her children.
She will be missed by so many for the way she was; just Lupe. If you truly knew her, you know what that means. We are all heartbroken for her loss, but grateful to have had her in our lives. We are all better people, having been loved by her.
The services for Guadalupe C Falcon will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel at 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78411 from 4 PM to 9 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM.
