Guadalupe Garcia

Guadalupe Garcia, 51, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on June 16, 2026. He was born in Corpus Christi on June 17, 1974, and spent his life building lasting friendships, creating cherished memories with family, and always lending a helping hand to those around him.

Guadalupe was a devoted family man who found his greatest joy in spending time with his loved ones. He enjoyed watching boxing and football, fishing, playing dominoes, and listening to music. Some of his family's favorite memories include the many cookouts he hosted, his love of barbecuing, preparing fish fries and tripas, and the good times shared dancing and enjoying life together. He will be remembered most for his kind heart, his willingness to be there whenever someone needed him, and the genuine care he showed to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Benita Rodriguez; his son, Guadalupe Garcia Jr.; his brother, Luis Martinez; his grandmother, Zulema Gomez; his aunt, Raquel Garcia; his aunt, Norma Cervantes; his uncles, Ruben Gomez and Jose Gomez; and his cousin, Jose Luis Gomez.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Juanita Gomez Perez; his children, Stephanie Garcia, Jose Guadalupe Garcia, Stacey Marie Alvarado, and Luis Angel Garcia; his brothers, Mario Garcia, Manuel Tapia, and Miguel Martinez; and his beloved grandchildren, Gina Hinojosa, Jordan Garcia, Zariah Alvarado, Zeiden Alvarado, Sariah Garcia, and Zeliana Jordan. He also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to their family, friends, and nurses for their love, support, and care during difficult times.

Guadalupe's legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on June 26, 2026, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.

A Prayer Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, US, on June 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
