Guadalupe C. Gonzalez

Guadalupe C. Gonzalez, 72, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2020. She was born in Alice, Texas on July 1, 1948 to Daniel Castillo and Maria Alvarado Castillo. She was married to Ricardo Gonzalez on May 8, 1966. Guadalupe was a housewife and her children were her life.

She was a member of Segunda Iglesia Bautista and had a passion for plants, her dogs, thrift shopping and spreading the Lord’s word.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Gonzalez; father, Daniel Castillo; and brother, Roman Castillo.

She is survived by her daughter: Rosario (Adam) Ramirez and 7 sons: Richard (Rosalinda), Rolando (Maria), Rene (Janie), Roger (Maria), Rudy (Valerie), Raynaldo (Lisa), and Robert.

19 Grandchildren: Aaron, Richard, Joe Albert, Ashley, Roland, Jr., Alejandro, Laci, Loren, Christian, Erin, Ryna, Victoria, Riley, Verabella, Kiara, Kasim, Robert, Jr., Martin, and Skye. Three sisters: Juana S., Yolanda V. and Alicia C.; 8 brothers: Pete (Lupe), Robert (Lupe), Arturo (Adriana), Andres, Joe (Irma), Daniel Jr., Gabriel (Cindy), and Antonio (Elvira) Castillo.

She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2020 starting at 12:00 PM. Funeral service will be held following visitation at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are mandatory.
