Guadalupe “Lupita” B. A. Janosek, 62 years old departed this world to oversee her family from the heavens above on September 2, 2026. Guadalupe was born on April 15, 1964, in Corpus Christi, TX to United States Marine and Korean War Veteran Gregorio Y. Ayala and Estela Benavides-Ayala.
Lupita was a warm-hearted woman who exhibited kindness and unwavering empathy for all, evident by her professional role, community involvement as a coach, and tireless efforts as a mother and grandmother. As she faced her own medical challenges that she would later succumb to, without reservation she tirelessly provided compassion and love that surpassed what her physical and mental capacities allowed while prioritizing the well-being of her family. Her demonstration of mercy and love for others above herself existed until her very last moment.
Lupita was and will forever remain a fan of the Miller Bucs, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Astros cheering them on from the heavens above. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Estela B. Ayala, brother Greg Ayala, and niece Kristine T. Ayala (daughter of Greg Ayala).
Left to cherish, uphold, and bring honor to her memory are her four children: her eldest son and retired U.S. Marine J. Janosek-Ayala, Anthony Janosek, Joe Ray Leal, and Leslie Leal, and five grandchildren. Lupita’s remaining family includes brothers, sisters, and sisters-in-law; Johnny and Valerie Ayala, Janie Ayala, Joe and Esther Ayala, George and Viola Ayala, Jimmy Ayala, Oscar and Thelma Ayala, Alex and Martha Ayala, Ernest and Carolyn Ayala, Roland Ayala, and Sylvia and Luis Tovar, and a myriad of nephews and nieces.
Even though her departure has brought sorrow to many, the path forward will be filled with love, joy, understanding, and the pride of having known her relentless spirit.
