He was born in Kingsville, Texas on February 15, 1946 to the late Cruz and Elvira Medina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Heberto, Juan and Nicolas.
Guadalupe leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his children, Elvira Ruiz (Joseph), Guadalupe “Luper” Medina, Jr., Jaime Medina (Melissa) and Belinda Medina; five grandchildren, Jose, Vivian, Nicholas, Autumn and Alexandria; one brother, Jose “Larry” Medina and one sister, Maria Sylvia Frazier; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
