Guadalupe Arias Mendoza

She was born on July 14, 1931 in Ziracuaretiro, Michoacán, Mexico to Elias and Augustina Arias.

Guadalupe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whom enjoyed being a homemaker to all her family. She was a devoted catholic.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Maureen Mendoza; two brothers, Benjamin and Luis Arias.

She leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 67 years, Esteban Guerrero Mendoza; five children, Robert Mendoza from Tampa, Florida, Mary (Lionel) Gutierrez, Anita (Richard B.) Torres, Daniel (Lucy) Mendoza and David (Pat) Mendoza all of Corpus Christi, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters, Feliciana Morales of Greeley, Colorado and Victoria (Manuel) Villarreal of Lake Jackson, Texas; one brother, Manuel (Paula) Arias; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be; Tony Ruiz, Ralph Nieto, Pete Villarreal, Joe Martinez, Felix Gonzales and Juan Hernandez. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Mendoza.
