Guadalupe Moya

She was born on July 6, 1944 in Goliad, Texas to the late Juan Garcia and Victoria Barrera Garcia.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gloria Culler and three brothers, Nativida (Nate) Garcia, Domingo Garcia and Victor Garcia; her first granddaughter, Isabel Miranda Morales.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Merced Moya and her six loving children that will miss her dearly, Linda Muguerza Morales (Dimas) of Austin, Tx, George Anthony Muguerza (Janie) of Pflugerville, Tx, Fidel Miranda Muguerza, III (Corine) of Beeville, Tx , Caroline Muguerza Gomez (Jose David) of Austin, Tx, Monica Hedrick of Austin, Tx, and Vicki Lee Muguerza Massey (Ray) of Refugio, Tx. Also surviving are three sisters, Estella Frankia, Rosa Garcia, Theresa Patron; Three brothers, Juan Garcia, Jr., Mario Garcia, and Rene Garcia; Guadalupe’s pride and joy were her thirteen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. They will miss their momo greatly.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be her six grandchildren, Jesus Morales, Jose Dimas Morales, Jr., Jeremy Muguerza, Jonathan Muguerza, Erik Hedrick and Matthew Muguerza.

Public visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. Corpus Christi, Tx 78415. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel followed by interment at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Tx 78415.
