Guadalupe A. Zamudio

On January 8, 2016, Guadalupe Ayala Zamudio, 83, arrived in Heaven into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Though her family mourns her absence, we are comforted in the knowledge that she will now spend a pain free eternity with those who preceded her in death.

Guadalupe was born on December 6, 1932 in Alice, Texas to Tomas and Eduvigues Ayala who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Zamudio, five sisters, Maria Martinez, Aurora Hernandez, Delia Ayala, Otilia Garcia and Elisa Cantu, her two brothers Joe and Luis Ayala, numerous brothers & sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces & nephews as well as a great niece.

She is survived by sisters, Celia Lara, Mary (Vique) Aldrighetti, Margie (Joe) Mendez, Mary Jane (Carl) Burrell and Mary Jessie (Michael) Maness, three brothers, Tomas (Elizabeth Chavela) Ayala, Adolfo Ayala & Manuel (Isabel) Ayala. Numerous loving nieces & nephews, along with great nieces & great nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 12 at 7 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by burial services at Rose Hill Cemetery.
