He was born on October 28, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Sabas and Guadalupe Hernandez.
Hector is preceded in death by his parents and his aunt, Josephine Paree.
Hector leaves behind his family to cherish his memories; his loving wife of 48 years, Esperanza “Penny” Hernandez; three children, Hector Hernandez, Jr., Ernest Hernandez, Penny Lerma, four grandchildren and one great grandchild; five brothers and two sisters; his uncle, Orie Paree, who raised him, along with his wife Josephine.
Private family services were held.
