Herminia C. Peña

Minnie was born in Corpus Christi on April 26, 1939. She graduated from Roy Miller High School and was married to Juan L. Peña on October 23, 1965.

After raising their children Minnie later joined the workplace assisting in a catering business and worked at The Love Note Religious Goods store. Minnie enjoyed listening to various types of music, attending concerts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Minnie was survived by her children, John and Melissa Peña, Alexander and Kat Peña, Steve Peña and Julie Marie Gonzalez, and Manuel and Christine Peña Gaona. Her grandchildren are Logan Jones, Oliver B. Peña, Aireck J. Garcia, Maria T. Garcia, Robert N. Garcia, Mia I. Gaona, Sophia L. Gaona, Southern M. Peña, Seven C. Peña, Juan M. Peña and Penelope J. Peña. Minnie had one great-grandchild, Jazmyne Rivera.

She was also survived by brothers, Lucio Coronado Jr., Enrique and Glenda Peña Coronado, Guadalupe and Gracie Coronado, David Coronado and sister, Esiquia Gonzales.

A private family service will be held at Memory Gardens on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
