

Horace was born May 5, 1964 in Corpus Christi at Spohn Hospital to Horace Welder Arkadie and Ruby Mae Hampton Arkadie.
Horace attended W.B. Ray High School in which he graduated in 1983. While attending Ray, Horace received numerous awards for his athletic abilities, including track. He was also initiated into the Hall of Fame at Ray for his amazing football skills on September 28, 2012.
Horace was previously married to Jacquelyn Brown Arkadie in which they had two children, Horace Philip Arkadie and Peyton Elaine Arkadie. His children meant the world to him. He loved them with all his heart and soul.
Horace worked in Manufacturing for many years. He also worked at Spohn Hospital for a while.
Horace was a great comedian and jokester. He brought smiles to many faces with his jokes. He love to make everyone laugh, especially his nieces and nephews.
Horace never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
Horace was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Welder Arkadie and Ruby Mae Hampton Arkadie.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his children, Horace Philip Arkadie and Peyton Elaine Arkadie. His sister, Cynthia (James) Griffin of Mesquite, Texas. A God-sister, Peaches Pearl Clacken of Maryland. Two brothers, Whitt Albert Arkadie of Corpus Christi, Texas and Stanley (Wanda) Hopkins of Portland, Oregon.
He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews to cherish his memory. They will always remember their Uncle Horace, the Comedian.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:30 AM with Celebration of Life Services beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment will be Private.
