Ignacio Garcia Jr., also known as Junior, entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on May 11, 2026, at the tender age of 53. He was born in Roma, Texas on December 17, 1972, to parents, Ninfa Medrano and Ignacio Garcia. Junior was a loving husband, father, son, and friend whose life was filled with laughter, loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people he loved most.
Junior had a love for movies, especially action films—if something was blowing up on screen, he was guaranteed to be watching. Music was another important part of his life and served as his way to relax and recharge. His taste in music was wide, ranging from classic rock and metal to Tejano, appreciating the comfort and energy each brought. He was also talented at drawing, showing creativity from a young age. As a kid, he loved playing basketball and skateboarding, always full of energy and adventure. Junior had a special love for old cars and spent much of his time fixing them, painting them, and bringing them back to life—a passion he inherited from his father, who was his strong rock and role model. He shared a close bond with his mother. His parents remained a steady source of strength and guidance throughout his life.
Junior met the love of his life, Bebe, while she was still in high school. What began as a young and simple love grew into a beautiful life together, and the two went on to raise three children. He was a devoted father who loved giving gifts, often bringing home small things for his kids simply because they reminded him of them during his day. He was the fun parent—the one who wanted to give his children the world and make sure they always felt loved.
Family was at the center of everything Junior did. He was dependable, caring, and always available for those he loved. If Ignacio cared about someone, they knew they could count on him for anything. He had a generous heart and a giving spirit, always wanting to make life better for those around him. Junior especially loved spending time with his family, often gathered around food and laughter. Ignacio loved to barbecue and took great pride in cooking for the people he loved. His chicken was a family favorite, and he never missed an opportunity to fire up the grill and bring everyone together.
Junior will be reunited in heaven with his mother, Ninfa Garcia; grandmother, Herminia De Los Santos; mother-in-law, Adelita Garcia; aunts, Juanita, Maria, Cleotilde; and uncles, Guadalupe and Mario.
His memory will forever live in his loving wife, Isabel “Bebe” Garcia; father, Ignacio “Nacho” Garcia; children, Roxanne, Jaime, Brandon; siblings-in-law, Tina (Roland), Sandra (Elias), and Edward (Andra). Aunts, Maria, Ninfa, and Teresa as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Junior will be remembered for his big heart, his unwavering love for his family, and the joy he brought into everyday life.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on May 30, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.
