She was born on October 27, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Jose and Angelita Trevino. She is survived by her siblings, Jose Trevino, Amada "Pinky" Roldan, Gloria (Hector) Lopez, and Agapito Trevino.
Christina's greatest blessing and proudest accomplishment was being the devoted mother of her beloved twins, her son and daughter, who were the joy of her life. She poured her heart into raising them with unconditional love, faith, and compassion. They were her greatest gifts from God, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She worked as a caregiver and a cook, where she was known for her dedication, kind spirit, and love for children. She was a longtime member of Church Unlimited Rodd Field, where her warm smile and vibrant personality welcomed guests. Christina also faithfully served at the Church Unlimited Missions Campus, helping those in need throughout the community.
Above all, Christina loved Jesus and lived her life with a heart full of faith, compassion, and love. She had a special gift for making others feel welcomed and cared for. Her kindness, warm sense of humor, generous spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Everywhere she went, it was a party. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Chris Adam) Altamirano, and her son, Michael Sanders; her four granddaughters, Tyrie "Ty" (JD) Biles, Cheyanne Palmer, Sierra Palmer, and Kinzie Sanders; her three grandsons, Lane Palmer, Braxton Sanders, and Maddox Sanders; her great-granddaughter, Maisyn Blake Biles; and her beloved extended family member, Rainy Sanders, all of whom brought her immense joy. She also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will continue to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Jose Trevino; her mother, Angelita Trevino; her brother, Eusebio Trevino; and her sisters, Mirosalva Trevino and Susanna Trevino, who have gone before her into the presence of the Lord. We rejoice in the promise that they have now been reunited in the everlasting peace and love of Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Funeraria Del Angel on Sunday, August 9, 2026, with a visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and service beginning at 6:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Christina's life, share memories, and give thanks for the love she so freely gave to others
