Israel Rodriguez

He served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired as an Aircraft Mechanic from CCAD. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing with family and friends. The most precious lesson he leaves his family is cherish the Love of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Lucia C. Rodriguez, parents, sisters, Paula Ruiz, Petra Gonzalez , and Lydia Espiriqueta, brother, Librado Rodriguez.

He is survived by his son, Jose Rodriguez (Gloria), daughter, Cynthia Ramos (Larry), sister, Raquel Lopez, brother, Cleofas Rodriguez (Felicitas), grandchildren, Sara, Sophia, Jose C. Rodriguez, Lynette and Alyssa Ramos, great-grandchildren, Jordan Guzman, Natalie, Nathan, Nico Rodriguez, Milla, Allie, and Lucy Garcia, Numerous nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers: Mr. Alejandro Perez, Mr. Carlos Garza, Mr. Mario Lopez, Mr. Tony Cruz, Mr. Charlie Garza, and Mr. Gus Casas. Honorary Pallbearers: Jose Rodriguez and Jose Cayetano Rodriguez.

Visitation will be at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Chapel on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
