He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Dora Rebecca Simpson; and brother, Maurice Simpson.
Jackie is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joy K. Simpson; children, J.-Ray Simpson (Cindy Ann) and Shelly Rene Caldwell (Carey); grandchildren, Jadyn Simpson, Jordyn Simpson and Jaxon Simpson; siblings, Jean Hendricks and W.T. Simpson.
Jackie had a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a loving person and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Funeral service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the service.
