Born on November 21, 1931, in Montgomery, Alabama, Jackie graduated from Highland Park High School in Dallas and later earned a degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU). She married the love of her life, James Richard Kiker, and together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love.
Jackie devoted her life to being a homemaker, finding great joy in raising her two sons, Jason McNeice Kiker and Jackson Hagen Kiker. She created a warm and welcoming home where family was always the heart of everything, she did.
She especially enjoyed reading and had a gift for decorating her home for the holidays, making every season feel festive and memorable. Jackie also had a special place in her heart for dachshunds and ducks, which brought her endless happiness.
One of her family's favorite memories was when she would make Au Gratin Potatoes, just like the ones she had on vacation in Haiti. A memory that we will cherish for the years to come.
Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Richard Kiker, who passed away on March 29, 2012.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Jason McNeice Kiker and Jackson Hagen Kiker; her cherished grandchildren, Julianne Elizabeth Kiker, Patricia Kiker, and Isabella Maria Kiker; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Debbie, her devoted caregiver, and to the compassionate staff of Serentiy Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness they provided.
Jackie will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering devotion to her family, her beautifully decorated home during the holidays, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in all who knew and loved her.
