Jan Veronica Vaiz

Born on June 24, 1976, Jan was a proud graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School, Class of 1994. She dedicated many years of her career to bookkeeping and tax services, where she was known for her hard work, integrity, and willingness to help others.

Jan found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved gathering with family and friends for lively games of lotería, dancing to her favorite music, and preparing delicious meals for those she loved. Above all else, Jan treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Jan was a woman of incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering love. She taught her children to face life's challenges with courage and determination while always finding reasons to laugh. Her sense of humor, positive outlook, and ability to see the best in every situation left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her love, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to guide her family for generations to come.

She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Anna Maria Ceballos, her parents Florinda Cavazos Ceballos and Louis A Ceballos and her brothers, Riko Ricardo Rodriguez and Louis Ceballos Jr.

Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her devoted husband, Rodolfo Vaiz Jr.; her loving daughters, Janyssa (Marcos) Gutierrez and Jazmyn (Michelle) Vaiz; her beloved son, Rodolfo "Trey" (Delanie) Vaiz III.; her cherished grandchildren, Delilah Pena, Aubrey Vaiz, Riley Vaiz, Tobias Vaiz, Damien Gutierrez, and Talia Vaiz; as well as her siblings, numerous extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jan's life during a visitation on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411.

The family will welcome guests beginning at 5:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service, eulogy, music and memory sharing to begin at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude at 8:30 p.m.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in the countless memories Jan leaves behind. Her love, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the family she loved so deeply.
