Born on May 4, 1981, in San Antonio, Texas, Javier was a proud recipient of a welding certificate, one of his most cherished achievements. On April 8, 2018, he married the love of his life, Gena Lynn Jaime-Martinez, in Taft, Texas. Javier worked as a heavy equipment operator in the oil field, dedicating himself to providing for his family with hard work and determination.
Javier had an immense passion for life. He loved cooking and took great joy in creating delicious meals for his family. He was a devoted father who delighted in spending quality time with his children—whether it was taking ferry rides, playing games, or simply being a big kid at heart. Known for his infectious laughter, dancing, and free-spirited nature, Javier always brought warmth and happiness to those around him.
He had a heart of gold and was quick to lend a helping hand, even giving the shirt off his back to those in need. Family meant everything to him, and his generosity knew no bounds. Javier was a great listener, especially to his children, nieces, and nephews, and always encouraged them with his wisdom, humor, and love of competition.
Javier was also known for his daring personality and adventurous spirit. A self-proclaimed daredevil, he was always seeking adrenaline-filled thrills and enjoyed playing pranks on his loved ones, sharing a hearty laugh afterward. His intelligence, self-motivation, and vibrant personality left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Javier is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tito and Tita Martinez, and his uncle, Daniel Martinez.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Gena Jaime-Martinez; his mother, Maria C. Martinez; and his treasured children: Nataliya "Nati" Jaime, Javier "Jr" Martinez Jr., Emiliano "Milo" Martinez, and Gabriella "Gabbi" Martinez. He is also survived by his siblings: Michele Martinez Gonzalez, Dessarae Martinez, Daniel Martinez, and Leinad Ramirez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
