He was born on May 14, 1948 in Glasgow, Montana to Martin Lloyd Swain and Doris Jean Lingle.
Jerald is preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Swain, parents and father-in-law Ernest Harold Adams.
He leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his children, Jeremy (Chrystina) Swain, Justin (Kendra) Swain, Julie (Bryan) Brown, Jill (Christian) Miller and Joshua (Libby) Swain, his mother in law, Bobbie Adams, twenty-one grandchildren and siblings Terry Thomas, Linda(Jim) Rushton, Leland Swain, Lana Swain and Larry Walker.
Visitation will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6630 Wooldridge, on Monday, October 21, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
